Need help selecting a plane.

I can't find a plane to meet these specifications for the life of me.

600$ or less.

RTR.

I would REALLY prefer it to be a jet, REALLY...

And nitro powered.

Preferably 3 or more channeled.

Speed's not really an issue.

The biggest thing would be for it to be a jet, but I guess I can work around that.

Is there anything like this on the market?

Thanks in advance.

When you say jet, do you mean actual turbine powered? Ducted fan? Prop jet? I've never seen an RTF turbine, especially for under $600. The Hangar-9 F-22 RTF is a prop jet that might work though. www.horizonhobby.com

well you said at least 3 channels right?

really though, i don't think you'll find a true jet model for this price and/or your specs............

Jets are in a class all their own, and i would not buy a Jet ARF from any model supplier..............this is a speacilized model.

I said a RTF. Not ARF, RTF.

Then fine. A warbid or aerobatic is the next best thing.

EDIT: That Horizon Hobby place is great! I wish they had some more advanced versions of those F-22 raptor training planes. If nothing else, I'll just do one of them.

You actually said RTR, not RTF

You sound like a beginner that is not sure what he really wants, and doesn't know what is out there. I would like to suggest that you visit the model flying fields, get to know the people, and if there is a club, join it. If you rush into this sport, you will have a ton of frustration and will probably drop out before you really drop in. The fact you don't know how many channels you want, and that you prefer a jet, are pretty revealing. This is not intended to be a harsh criticism, I just hope that you will avoid the many many mistakes a lot of people make when starting out. Good luck. It is a wonderful hobby.

if you are a beginner i would suggest you put the jet on the backburner for a while and look into some type of a 4-channel high wing rtf trainer. glow or electric..... around .40 to .60 size.
