dp120 pull pull question
Putting together my new dp120 ultimate in hooking up the pull pull wires for the elevator I noticed the wires for the elevator rub on one of the fueslage bulkhead (the bulkhead right behind the cockpit, I see no way around this, Can't see anyway around this other putting some tubing through the fueslage. has anybody else noticed this, if this is acceptable please let me know.

dp120 pull pull question
did you mount the servo in the inner servo cutout or the outbound cutouts? I put both elevator and rudder in the center rectangular cutout and raised one slightly and the cables are all free and clear from rubbing anywhere.

I mounted both elevator and rudder to the outside of the large center cutout just like in the picture, not sure what's going on here, the cables that rub on the bulkheadare the elevator up cables. i took the servo out cause I was considering raising it up, I would have to raise the servo atleast one inch to keep the cables from rubbing on the bulkhead. On my cutouts on the fueslage i had to cut the cutouts for the up elevator, down pull and rudder were already cutout, I cut it out the distance it said in the book 1/4 inch above the elevator stab. I see no way to keep them from rubbing considering feeding a nylon casing for these two wires.
Any more input I would greatly appreciate it. Scott |
dp120 pull pull question
you should just move them to the center cutout... mine work perfect. I just had to raise one so that the long servo arms did'nt hit. my instructions showed them mounted in the center not outbound btw
