prop size and split elevators help
i have an adrenaline 68inch that has an asp 108 in. what is the best prop size for 3d i am running a 14/6 and it feels wrong in the air some how. Compared to the power my uproar has on the osfx46 i know it must have in the same range of power to weight as it but just does not seam to pull the same
The other part is how do you get the split elevators to run even. i had the first couple of flight today and it was shocking even after spending a long time on setup. full elevator on low rates and i was nearly doing a snap roll not fun when i was trying a wall. lol. i know i got the horns in the same place as i made a jig up to get them right i can only asume the servos are in the same place as they are in factory holes any advise here would be greatly acsepted thanks in advance |
RE: prop size and split elevators help
I fear that whatever prop you put on your engine it will lack proper 3d power.
A quality (OS, Saito, YS) 120 - 150 is required. As for the elevs, get yourself a control surface deflection measuring device and fine tune the throws. |
