cox ultimate 40 arf engine

Hey all, I'm putting together a Cox 40 size Ultimate arf and I want to use a four stroke engine(thats all I have)it calls for a.40-.46 two stroke engine.I've got an OS 48 Surpass and a Saito 56,65 and a 82a.Which would work the best?I dont need to rip the wings off.I want just enough power to keep it interesting.
Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

The .82a would be right to give you good performance.

The OS .48 would be fairly anemic.

A flyer in my club has a Magnum 52 4 stroke on one, and it looks like the perfect combo, flies well and sounds great!

I have a 55AX in mine and it screams. So by using the 150% 2c to 4c rule I'd say that the .82 would be perfect. The plane is a blast to fly, your going to love it. Good luck and let us know what you decide and how she flies w/your engine selection.

Hey all, well I've got the FA82a but on a plane with a 42 inch wing span and 600 sq. inches of wing area and only weighing 5 pounds this little bird would sceam. This engine pulls my big overweight(almost 9 pounds) LT-40 around like it's nothing.I don't want to pull the wings off! Oh well I guess thats what the left stick is for right?

Thanks for your input.

No worries, biplanes have a spare wing. I've tried to rip the wings off mine but they seem to want to stay on. Oh well, keep on trying.:D
