H9 Hellcat scale options...
 

I bought a H9 Hellcat and after a botched landing and scratching up the cowl, decided to make it a bit more scale looking... Ripped off the ultrakote and added exhaust ports behind the cowl (see pic), gonna order some robart strut covers, adding guns to the main wing, changing the color scheme, making custom landing gear boots, gonna start on a scale cockpit and a few other things... one thing that I need suggestions on is the tail gear. I want to relocate it closer to the nose for better scale appearance but can't find a good scale tail gear for it. I saw robart makes some, but not for a 1/8 scale bird... beside custom making that also, what do you guys recommend? anyone sell one you know of? doesn't have to be retractable... Also what other ideas do you guys have for me? Thanks....

I'm using the Robart retractable tailwheel on my Top Flite 1/8 scale P47.
