ARF elevator linkage setup.

This subject has probably been discussed before, but I did a search and found no satisfying answers.

I recently purchased a Kyosho sensation which I’m about to start putting together. The problem is, I can't really decide how to setup my elevator linkage.

This is my second Kyosho ARF. On the first one, a Cap 40, I ended up using separate servos for each elevator half. The result was good, slope free, but this is also a quiet heavy and expensive setup..

On my new one I would like to use only servo for the elevators, but still I want it to be slope free. Any suggestions?

Central hobbies sells a bellcrank assy. but I think its more than the cost of adding a servo.... about $60. Maybe you could make something similar? Make a Stab Joiner out of some wire? Use a carbon fibre pushrod with a dual wire out the back?

I would also recommend using aileron servos or any small servo with high torque. I heard that micro digitals are coming out. This may be the answer.

I think I understand your question. I attached a picture (drawing) that attempts to show you a way to use one servo to control a two piece elevator. This setup is used on the ModelTech p-47 arf that I am assembling. I have not flown it yet but it looks like it will work ok.
