Hangar 9 Sopwith Camel engine question

Hello all,
I am currently building the Sopwith Camel 60 from Hangar 9. I am installing an OS .90FS in the supplied motor mounts in the prelocated position and notice, with the cowling on, the engine shaft is down and to the left of the center of the hub bump in the engine. The dummy engine is glued in straight with the cowl and I have relieved some material around the rocker cover area of the engine so the cowl clears the engine properly.
I have read where some others have used this engine combination and was wondering if you could share any input on this? maybe a picture?
Thanks in advance,

RE: Hangar 9 Sopwith Camel engine question

roofer,
Is there anything in that HUGE thread that applies to this question? I just scanned through it and it appears that Minnflyer covered the cowl install on page 3 and it was one post that said his cowl fit perfectly. But I may have missed something about the lineup.

When anyone posts a link with nothing else, no words explaining what's in the link and why it's posted, it's not much value.

Where in that thread did you see something that applies? It's just good manners to point out what page and post number you are referring to.

For example:
I just scanned through that huge link again.
Minnflyer has one post about mounting his engine. It's post #22 on the second page of the thread. He says it mounted with no trouble. Nothing about lining up the prop shaft with the fake engine.
He appears to have one post about mounting the cowling. It's post #48 on the third page of that thread. He says it went on with no trouble. Also nothing about lining up the shaft to the fake engine.

I must have missed whatever it was in that thread that actually pertains to this thread. Any help with where in that huge thread there is something that applies?

thanks in advance

RE: Hangar 9 Sopwith Camel engine question

Thanks for the reply, but the posts that da Rock mentions do not really apply to my situation due to different engines being used.
My cowl fit was fine but the engine casing is almost touching on the right (as you are looking into the cowl) of the fake engine. I have double checked with the instructions and even called Hangar 9 but no one, I have spoken with, has put this engine in this plane so they can not elaborate on my issue. Since a few that posted to that topic had installed this engine, I was hoping they would see this posts and lend a hand.
All help is appreciated.
