Flying Pumpkin ARF
 

Ok I built it from ARF parts it has to fit the ARF forum. My wife needs a pumpkin for work. She works at a bank. Everyone that wants to enter can decorate a pumpkin. The winner usually gets an extra day off with pay. So she ask me what to do. Well first thing that comes to mind is a airplane of course. So this US Aircore bipe ARF has been gathering dust in my garage. I was going to trash it but I wanted to strip the wheel collars and clevises first. It makes a good looking pumpkin. It's a 48" span with a MA 15x8.It is held with toothpics right now. When I take it to the bank I will run rods all the way through to hold the wings level. I'm thinking it can go on my front step for years to come.

Cool, so how well does it fly?

What's it's wing loading.

Who makes this ARF?

What engine do you have in there?

That is just way cool...[sm=thumbs_up.gif] and as a mod in this forum I'll be glad to leave it in here, no problem at all

It needs a pilot, how about Casper the Friendly Ghost

Maybe use pieces of corn stocks to hold the wings up

Your right about the pilot. I guess I need to go to Wal*Mart and look. Putting solid rods through the fuse/pumpkin should hold the wings up.

Linus would make a better pilot of "The Great Pumpkin" plane. Just make sure he takes his blanket..ummmm, flying scarf with him.
