Hobbico Extra 300 wing help
 

Just acquired(for free) my second Hobbico Extra 300. The first one crashed due to a right wing failure. After examining the wreck, I saw that the wing has no spar, just foam covered with balsa. I want to strengthen this wing with some type of a spar, be it a metal rod, long wood dowel, or a fibergalss rod. I could either drill out the foam or heat a metal rod and insert it. Any thoughts or idear's. I'm installing a Surpass OS 91 FS so the strength is needed.
