Dragon Lady, enough engine?

Hey all,

Just picked up an older Dragon Lady ARC kit. Here's my question. I purchased it off ebay not seeing the required engine specs. The required specs are .91 to 1.6 Four Stroke. Will a YS .91 be sufficent or should I opt for a larger 1.10 or 1.40. Any thought or comments are welcome.

Thanks,

Scott J. Wolke

It'll be plenty. I built the ARC. You can expect it to weight 9.5 to 10.5 lbs. I have a 120 2 stroke in it and I think the YS91 would be a good match unless you want vertical excell out of a hover.

It is a easy flyer not a 3d aerobatic plane. I'm finishing mine now and I'm putting a YS.91 in.

Since you'll most likely beat me in the air, let me know how it flies with that engine!!

I've had a Model Tech for years. Great airplane.
OS 1.2 4 stroke seems perfect. My buddy liked flying it so much bought the plane and tried several engines. OS 1.2 Surpass is perfect.

NeoGenesis, would you by any chance still have the instructions for the Dragon Lady ARC? I just acquired one, but no instructions.
