Tower Trainer Battery Location Help!

Finished up my Tower Trainer 40 last night and went to check CG. With the battery in the standard location in front of the servo tray it was extremely nose heavy. I had to move the battery back to the area behind the servo tray essentially in the beginning part of the trail to get it balanced correctly. Anyone else had this happen? I am thinking it is because I of my Magnum XLS46 which is a lot heavier than the OS .40 LA (non ball bearing) that they show in the pictures.

Any thoughts?

ps. I am using a Great Planes CG Machine so it's pretty accurate.

RE: Tower Trainer Battery Location Help!

I've had to do this in a few of my planes. In one plane the bottom of the tail was sheeted so I just cut a hatch and placed the battery where it balanced the plane. I like balancing the plane by moving the battery back rather than adding weights to the tail.

Okay sounds good. I mounted it with velcro so I can move it around as needed.
