Rascal 40 ARF, inverted 2 stroke???

Hi, just picked up a Rascal 40 ARf and am wondering if the fuel tank is at the correct height to run an inverted 2 stroke??[8D]

Turning an engine over is going to offset the centerline by no more than 1/2".

1/2" makes almost no difference to the performance of the engine.

The big bug-a-boo is with siphoning, which in turn is easy to control if it occurs.

Don't worry about it... mount it inverted.

I had one flying for several years with an inverted OS .46 without a problem... until I forgot to properly charge the receiver battery! I just got my hands on another one, this time with an electric motor. I loved this plane, it is one of those "throw it in the back of the car in case you find a place to fly", lots of fun!:D

I have a Rascal 40 w/ SK 50 3/4 inverted. The pipe runs right under the center of the belly.
Flys great ... By the way SK 50 w/ 12-5 very powerfull unlimited vertical, and pretty fast as well .

I have pics on my profile

Thankx for the replys! I checked out some reviews and videos and the plane sounds like it will be a much better flyer than I expected. :D
