heat gun
is using a heat gun to speed the curing process of jb weld or epoxy bad?
|
RE: heat gun
well, yes I support my idea by experience JB likes to set up slow and strong results by speeding up the curing process the only thing you are achieving is altering the curing momentum and this can cause to become britle and in many cases wont even bond right, so JB weld at night, let it sleep[sm=redface.gif] Fernando

RE: heat gun
ok in that case ill let it cure till Saturday,,, hopefully the wind will hold up.... do you fly @ SMASH?

RE: heat gun
The other thing heat will do is make it flow. It will cure faster but may not stay where you want it unless you dam it up.
