magic formula 3d
 
i have a magic formula 3d and i got a saito 72 for it , this combo seems to be very tail heavy
any sugestions to get a better balance , should i get a bigger and heavier engine?tnx.

Friend of mine ran an ASP 80 FS in his, seemed to be pretty much unlimited for what he wanted to do... no idea about balance but he could do whatever he wanted with this setup (14x6 prop BTW).

i had a super tigre 90 in mine and it was fine..... flew like a dream

ive got new hangar9 f22 comes with trn45 eng but upgrading to mag61 seems to be in the middle of eng ranges for this plane most post ive seen recomend larger engines as you progress in flt from manafactures specs

heaver eng and balance wts should take care of your tail being to heavy as long as trim is good

a heavier engine that balances an airplane beats dead weight any day
