Hi..

I saw a chipmonk arf at the field and wanted to know if anybody knows who makes it?;) I think it was a 90 size.

Great Planes has one for a 90 two stroke to a 120 four stroke. Has about a 81 inch span.

The BH chipmunk is the perfect ARF.

It has flaps, can land at a walking pace almost and flys great.

Kit quality is excellent but the tail wheel can be a pain.

Don't let that put you off, it's a great plane.

World Models make a 60/90 size, with or without retracts, and it is an excellant flyer. Nitroplanes makes a 40 size and a 120 size and they are pretty terrible.

I had a first generation Chipmonk from World Models years ago, put a inverted Super Tiger .90 in it, flew great.
Later versions were even better.

Thanks guys for the information. I guess i will buy the world models chipmunk, the great planes arf has been discontinued from tower. Tower no longer has one.

Yeah take the WM one, I also flew mine with a G90 ... later EP and a YS110 ... she flies so so well, try the KE, its very very nice. :) Oh yes ... no need flaps to land at all.

Just for sure stay away from the NITRO MODEL. I went down that terribly bumpy road. Nice looking plane after getting it done but getting it was a nightmare.

I second what Kid says ... stay away ... stay far far away from that one, its a POS. Nightmare is a good word for it!

[8D]I think the WM chipmonk is very similar to the Goldberg kit which is a great flying model.
