G-62 looking for airobatic airframe

Any suggestions on airframes for a G-62? IMAC, 3D, etc.. type flying. Cap's, Extras, Edges?

Most planes are either 120 or big gassers it seems

Thanks,
Nuvaring

If your not looking for a scale plane the lanier giant stinger is hard to beat. Especially with one of those giant tuned pipes!

My favorite combo for the G-62 is the Aero-Pro 33% Laser 200.
This is an ARC kit (discontinued) but still out there NIB or already
finished and covered. A fellow pilot here just sold one NIB for
$200.00 Planes like the H9 Extra and Cap are too big for the
62 to allow 3D flights. I agree with you that there are no ARF's
that really fit the 84" to 90" span criteria for the G-62. The hoard
of 80" planes are just too short in the fuse to work well.

Just got an update on the new Lanier 30% Edge. Looks good
and would be just right for your 62.

I can tell you DON't put a G62 in the Sig Sukuio... It breaks in half on landing.... gear too tall for this much engine

I have the Laser 2000 from Kangke with a brison 3.2. A G62 should be a great combo in the airframe. With the 3.2 it will do anything you want {or can do in my case}.

I see the new Lanier edge might be just the right thing.... Also the Laser 2000. been through several lasers in the past though and would like to move to something with airfoil tailfeathers.

My second thought is to scratch the search for a plane for the G-62 and go with something smaller like:

H9 Edge 540 with 150 or 180
Midwest Cap with Moki 1.8 or 2.10 (friend has one that needs a little TLC to get fliying again.

Open to suggestions

I was something I could try 3D with

What do you think?

Thanks!
