weight wise the new bme motor but i am waiting to see what is the real deal since they are just being sent out:

plane wise most gas motor are going to be to heavy for the size of that plane the new bme is about the weight of a os-160 but it should be actual to powerful for a plane of that size.

Thanks for the help! One more question. Would the Evolution 26GX (1.6) Gas Engine have enough power or would the Evolution 35GT2 (2.15) Gas Engine be better? I think I'm leaning towards these engine because of the weight, but I have no experience with Evolution engines.

Thanks for the help!!

well i think of the 26gx with out pipe close to the same power as the OS 120 ax with pipe close to the 1.60 power.
the 35 close to the 1.6 stock muffler but the pipe really helps.

also I think the 26GX is close in weight to the 1.6 and the 35 is more than the a moki 2.10.

I would look at the type of flying you want to do and your skills. then look at the wing area and weight of the plane. I tend to go by 1000 sq" plane should be less than 9lbs for good 3D 1100sq" should be 10lbs or less for good 3D. the lighter the better with enough power to hover at 1/2 or less.

What is the weight and wing area of this plane?

The plane weights 11-12 lbs. The wing area is 64 dm2 (Im guessing 1000 wing area). Im thinking that the 35 evo would be ok?
