I just finished the CMP Midget Mustang and have 4 flights on it so far. I'm using a Supertigre .61 ABC engine with a Bisson Pitts muffler and the fit was decent but I had to cut the cowl to fit the width of the muffler.

I tends to nose over on a grass field during taxi an landing so full up elevator is necessary and I would recommend more elevator than recommend with expo. The fiberglass gear bounces as well on landing and I'm going to make an aluminum set to address this situation and also move the wheels forward by a 3/4" to eliminate the nose over.

This is a very nice ARF and my first CMP build and I am very pleased with it even with the minor issues.

Do I need to reinforce the landing gear support ?
