Perfect!!! EXACTLY what I was looking for, thanks!
Go to Hobbypeople dot net. I searched for Black Horse Models and the distributor's page didn't work, but BH models brings you to Hobbypeople (I fly Airtronics so I like them;)) |

I WANT that Katana!!! [>:]:D

RE: Trying to find the right plane
You should get BOTH!

RE: Trying to find the right plane
Not the biggest Sukhoi fan.
What do you think for an engine? 180 four stroke enough? |
RE: Trying to find the right plane
Go gas and put a G26 in the Katana. Makes a great combination.
|
RE: Trying to find the right plane
The product website recommends a 50cc - did you mean a G62 or are they way high on the estimate?
|
RE: Trying to find the right plane
I think the 50cc engine is a typo. I have a GP Ultimate that weights 15.5 lbs powered by a Fuji 43 and it hauls the Ultimate though most acrobatics with power to spare. The Katana in the ad indicates that it should weight in the 11-12 lb area. Several of our club members fly Nitro Models 71" aerobatic planes in the 11 to 12.5 lb range with G26 gassers.

Great people to deal with. Also if you are tight with your LHS, they will give you good advice as well. Personally I rarely endorse anyone do to fact they don't put money in my pocket or sponsor me. Horizon and Hanger 9 have been fantastic with me. So far I haven't had to butcher any of there aircraft that I've built... there manufactured ARF's aren't bad in the quality category compared to most on the market, and there prices are not bad for what you get. Also, there hardware is usable, and you can replace parts if need be. JMHO Luftwaffe Oberst AMA District II Radio Aero Modelers Club Pulaski, NY Supporter of RedNeck R/C- Fulton, NY |
