Just Another Gp Pitts!
Okay, so it's nothing new, but! It's absolutely gorgeous and went together as smooth as butter. I am using Hitec 5625 digitals on the elevator halves and 5645's on the ailerons. I have slaved the top and bottom ailerons. Rudder is controlled by a 605MG and throttle is a standard 425BB. I also used Kangke USA control horns on everything but rudder where I used opposing sullivan horns. Radio is a trusted JR347. Power is supplied by a RS Engines 45cc Homelite chainsaw conversion engine with a Bennet muffler. It's swinging a Biela 20x8 CF prop at a respectable 7300rpm with an idle of about 2300. All up weight is right at 16 lbs. Engine starts easily and exhibits very little vibration. Maiden flight is still a ways off as my chief test pilot is being inconvenienced by something called work!

Loopman:
I think you will be happy with it, do a search on the pitts & you will find a lot of info on it. I have been flying mine with g-62 for power for 1 1/2 years & love it, watch it on landing, if you chop the throttle it stops & drops like a brick. Keep a little power on. Gil |
