Help choosing engine.

My wife just ordered me a kombat20 for fathers day. Now it's time to selectg the engine. I have no experience with smaller sized engines.
The plane calls for a 25-32 2 stroke but also says it flies well with a 40 sized bushing engine like the os40la.

I think the plane weighs in at 3lbs.

Anyhow. I want a nice sunday flyer. I want descent vertical but don't need unlimited.

Now heres the catch. 3 planes ago I promised my wife. No more planes this year. Well here we go. I will now need an engine, flight pack etc.

I want to keep the cost of the engine at a minimum which rules out the os32sx. I am leaning towards the os 25fx.

Does anybody have any suggestions. I feel most comfortable with OS engines However I would be open to any suggestions.

Crash,
The OS LA series is reasonably priced and they make pretty good power, you might also consider the Norvel 25, BIG power and relatively cheap.

On a 3 lb. plane you can't go wrong with an OS LA for the money.
I have an LA .25 on a Lanier Shrike and it hauls.
