Thanks Adrian. This is actually my 2nd WM T-34.....lost the first one in a mid-air....the decals were done completely stock on that one, so this time I decided to do something a little different thanks to some ideas I got on RCU!

Nice job on the graphics. I never did care for "NAVAL" across the fuselage... :p

World Models T-34
Hello all, this is my first time here, so i hope this works. I am getting ready to start flying my used WM T-34. I am changing the engine to an XLS 46, that i have been using in my trainer. I have the option to mount the motor the same way as the old one (inverted, with a *****en cut cowl) or mounted regular and hack the cowl up. I am fighting myself on the best way to do it. Any ideas?
Thanks, Kenny |

Hi Kenny, If you do an inverted mount, you'll most likely have to re-drill the firewall and I think re-installing blind nuts into the back of the firewall could get tricky because of the limited access.....
I like my engines upright, but that's just my opinion....I'd rather sacrifice a bit of scale looks to possibly have my engine running more reliably. |

I just ordered one of these from Action Hobbies for $105.99 after reading all the post, I can't wait till it gets here.

Thanks Redwing! She's flown A LOT! Flies like a dream.....one of the funnest planes I have. I went with slightly larger throws on the surfaces compared to what's recommended. It snap rolls like crazy! I've surprised a few people at the field when doing snap rolls with it. I love doing low passes over the field and banking the wings towards the pits....it looks awesome in the air. Point rolls look very nice with it too. (even though mine aren't the best point rolls!)
