World Models Nemesis 52
I'm hoping to find some Nemesis owners to give me their input on this plane. As you may have read, I am struggling between this plane, GP Revolver, and the Harmon Rocket. I am leaning toward the Nemesis now, the look is awesome. I would probably go with the .56 4-stroke for the motor. Thanks in advance for any comments.

We had one fly at our field this fall, it had a Saito 56, flew really nice, good pick , looked very smooth in the air

Hiya Steve...
Definately put your hard earned moolar into a GP Revolver, what you'll get is a totally awesome looking plane and a super great flyer! Powered mine with an OS 46 FX and went great, Better still with an OS 50 SX. Truely an awesome tough plane, point and shoot. Landings can be alittle tricky for the first few flights, these are made supe easy if you add spoilerons ( both ailerons up ) as your about to kiss the ground. Chow for now, Paul |

I have no experience with the Revolver. I did, how ever, just finish building and flying the Nemesis. I found the build straight foreward and I am happy with the quality of the ARF in general. I used a Saito .82 4 stroke. I am happy so far with the flight performance. The recomended throws are very conservative. I had some higher rates dialed in with around 40% expo and I prefered the higher rates right away. I used the recommended C of G and it seemed right on. The plane is pretty fast but not insane. I love the looks. I flew with a 12 X 8 prop which the engine spun at 10,500 rpm static. I found it hard to slow down to land. I ended up shutting of the engine to land in the end as even at low idle it would not stop flying. I hope to post some video in the next few weeks.

Found the recomended CofG to be way conervative as a result recomended elervator throws had to doubled to get a decent responce. The nose drops drematicly as you roll 90deg for a hard turn and landing speed hard wash off. Yet to finde the best C/G but it could be as much as 25mm to the rear of the recomended 85mm by the way its looking. I spent many hours doubleing the strength of the landing gear. It is reasonably fast with an OS55ax (tried a 56fsa also, slow as). I think this aeroplane will take a bit more tweeking than most. Looks good in the air though.

RE: World Models Nemesis 52
Are there CF landing gear made for this model?
Has anyone tried to convert it to electric? |

I run a 56 Saito Elevator very touchy so I am now running running 50% expo on the elevator. The plane was hard to land had to land very fast. I mixed in flaps then needed about 5% elevator, this done the job. Every landing spot on. Now its nice to fly and land.;)

I also admire the looks of this plane. I was interested to know how the plane flys/lands with the Saito 56. Are there any difficult mounting challenges? Thanks in advance for any advice[8D]

RE: World Models Nemesis 52
Does the Saito 56 have enough power for this model? Anyone?

RE: World Models Nemesis 52
I worked with Jon Sharpe the designer and owner of the Nemesis and his plane flies great. That's not what you're folks are talking about. He has retired from air racing and is now focusing on closed circuit timed courses. It will be interesting to how much the speed envelope opens up on his Nemesis.
I like the look of the RC Nemesis...if it's flying qualities are close to the Nemesis it will be a great flyer. What motor is everyone putting in it? Anyone going electric with it? |
Well I have had mine now for about 3 years and have been flying it as an electric the entire time. My current setup is a Motrofly 4315-717 a Gecko 155amp speed control and Spektrum ds-821 servos. With this current setup it was clocked at just over 170mph. This plane rocks and is stable and fun to fly.
