Hobbico FlyZone Beechcraft Staggerwing RTF 31"

Not much in the way of feedback on this one.

Any thoughts on it? Seems the battery, radio and motor are desirable??

Any input like actual flight time or other issues would be appreciated, thanks

Its also on sale for $89..which is why I ask.

It's a very fun little plane. Flight times are very good. It's not for beginners though

Well, it's not very forgiving. And it has a lot of lift, so if there's any breeze blowing, you can't just power it into the wind or it will just climb like a homesick angel.

you need to nose it into the wind, and keep it headded into the wind. Then make a quick turn where it will go like a bat out of hell down-wind.

Nose it back into the wind and repeat.

But on a windless day it is a lot of fun and very maneuverable.

Hi
Do you have alot of time on the Hobbico Beechcraft Staggerwing ?
I was thinking about getting it to build my skills with. I need to get
flight time before I try my larger wood plane .
I crashed it two times, cost alot to fix it.

Are you getting instruction or just trying to fly on your own?

I am on my own.

Well I would seriously consider finding a local club and learning the right way, but if that's not possible, a better option that the Staggerwing would be this one:

Thanks, I will check it out. I really like the size of the Staggerwing.
I have the superstar ep 48. I wanted to lowball my cost till I
built more skill. A buddy has that Beechcraft I can get for 30 bucks.
I dont have a lot of cash but want to to to get more skill.

For 30 bucks it's a good deal, but the staggerwing is not the best for a beginner. You need a really dead-calm day or it really gets blown around
