25% planes
 

Who has the best 25% planes? I am ready to get a little larger plane and would like to hear your suggestions.. Also would a 28 cc be enough motor for it????

What type of flying do you want to do? Sport? Scale? Warbird? Aerobatic? 3D? That will determine what 1/4 scale airplanes are out there and what engine would be suitable.

Do you already have the 28cc gasser? If so, check out the "25%" planes from Cermark. The aren't technically 25% scale if you wanted to be nit-picky but that's no big deal. I have the Yak with an MLD-28S and it is a nice combo.

I also have a GP 25% Sukhoi that flys nice but it definitely needs a larger engine. I have a 43cc on mine.

It does have some minor quality issues with the coverign material and a few of the hardware pieces but nothing that can't be dealt with and the price is hard to beat. It flys well with a smaller gas engine too. I was skeptical when I bought mine but so far it has been impressive.

Thas a nice looking Yak, but it does not appear to be on there site any longer...If I follow your link it is there, otherwise it does not show on there main site..

i fly the great planes patty wagstaff extra 300 with a moki 2.10. i believe it's 26% scale or so i've been told. it is the most durable arf plane flown at our field. the other PW extra 300's at our field fly with 48-50 cc gasser engines. their's have a bit more vertical although mine will climb until i feel like getting the crick out of my neck.

I just checked and it is there. Maybe there was a glitch with the site? Just click "vehicles" then "airplanes" then "ARF" It is a couple pages in.
