U-Can-Do-3D-.46
:p Just received my new U-Can-Do-3D-.46 ARF. Anybody put one together yet. So far I've been impressed. I'm using the OS-70 II and I would like to wait and gather the funds for a digital servo for the rudder. Going with a remote glow adapter and fuel dots for under the cowl ease. Need to stop off and pick up the Ritz dye for the tinting of the canopy. Cannot believe the size of the control surfaces. Should really be great at all the low and slow manuvers. Going out of town, so it will be a couple of weeks before she flies and that really has me bummed out. If anyone has hit a snag with this one, let me know!

Hi,
I'm thinking about buying one of these models. After you've assembled it would you mind letting me know what you think about the quality of the kit ? Also, how well it flies? Thanks Scooterpilot |

I found a Hobby shop that carries the model. I ordered it and it will be here Wednesday.
I'm going to use an OS 50 engine on it. What prop size do you recommend? Regards, Scooterpilot |
U-CAN-DO-46
Hi,
My model has been delivered. Boy oh boy are these control surfraces massive. I'm going to run an OS 50 with it and start with a 12X4 prop. I've re-glued the fuselage in all the areas I could reach and re-glued the belly pan as well. I thought the glue was on the light side when I looked at it. The horizontal stab was a little bit off so I sanded the high side on the fuselage and it came out right on the numbers. The engine bolted up without a hitch. The vertical stab went on without a hitch. I'm running 9202's on all control surfaces. . Building has stopped until I get the servo extensions for the rudder and elevator Regards, Scooterpilot |
