Considering DP ultimate -- ???

I have an OS 160 looking for a home. I have been biplaneless for a while now and am considering the new DP blue ultimate. I do want full 3d capability. Will it really come in at 12 lbs ready to fly with an OS 160. How does it harrier, elevator hover etc. Is it big enough to handle a bme 44 with extra mount bracing.

Check out his site

He is VERY cautious about engines larger than 140 size. He tends to build very light, the firewall on mine appeared to be lite ply.

He advertises the plane to be around 10 1/2 pounds, but most people I know come in somewhat heavier, mine was 11 1/2 with a YS120. 12 pounds I think is a good guess.

I can't say about 3D as that is not my style of flying, but the 120 would hover it at about 2/3 throttle.

I have the plane with a 140 DZ on it, and it should 3d pretty well. I have yet to fly it, still making sure i get everything dialed in, but I heard at sea level it 3ds awesome with the 1.60 FX. I am at 6000 feet, so hopefully i will be able to get some good performance.
