RE: E Z Arf Models
ORIGINAL: 52jaws Which version do you have? If I can find someone here to make a decent trade with me........ It saves it from ebay. A guy from RCU in Hilo Hawaii took my OK EZ Zero 45 and the post office managed to get it there safe and sound. http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg37/...pg&res=landing |

My EZ P-51D now has a new home with 52jaws.

I have an EZ Cap 21 new in the box that is for sale if anyone is interested. Very nice airplane!
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
I may be interested in your CAP. Would you be willing to give us a price? Also some pics would be nice.
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
I listed it in the buy sell section with two pictures. The price is $175.00.

RE: E Z Arf Models

RE: E Z Arf Models
Put it in the classifieds for a fair price and I'm sure you'll get takers,, Too bad this wasn't last week, I just drove home from So Cal.
Last week I picked up an NIB Extra 230, 60-90 size via RCG at a great price, only $160 shipped, had two off these back in the day. Can't decide, 91 4 stroke or EP conversion,, Probably glow unless I can figure how to make a clean battery hatch set up, we'll see |

Somebody can try and talk me out of this Zero 45, its way too nice a plane for my hanger. Includes mechanical retracts, retract servo and wheels. Appears complete but opened and played around with.

RE: E Z Arf Models
My wife is going to kill me ;),, what's the wingspan on that one?
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
55.6"
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
Anybody else before I list it ?
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
How much are you wanting for it?
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
Ithink $150 plus shipping is fair. Isee the Great Planes .40 size Mustang is comparably priced and not nearly the plane the EZ series is as we all know.
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
That's a GREAT DEAL. I would be all over it if I didn't already have one in my EZ collection.
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
Iwould love to keep it but my finances are not so hot and I already have 2 Extra 260 EZ arfs that need building.
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
Same here....already have one and a partially built one too. Id be interesrted in one of your 260's if you ever want to part with one.

RE: E Z Arf Models
Unfortunately they were gifts and I cant part with them, especially since my buddy passed away shortly after he gave them to me.
|
RE: E Z Arf Models
Completely understandable my man......I'll push your Zero around and make sure all our guys in our club know of it too.

RE: E Z Arf Models
Thanks Paul. Hope it goes to a good home.

RE: E Z Arf Models
It's tempting, didn't mean to leave ya hanging, but I'm out of these smaller planes sice I fly from a kinda rough grass runway now, smal warbirds don't do well.
good luck, $150 is a great deal for some one, these sold for more like $250 in mid 90's dollars, that'd be more like $300+ today |
RE: E Z Arf Models
Just read the entire thread; man, talk about a trip down Memory Lane! I LOVED these models, and had 7 or 8 of them until Hobby Shack stopped carrying them (maybe because of the fire?).
The Cessna 40T, as marketed by RPM instead of EZ, was my favorite flyer. I had three of them at various times. The "trainer" description was real funny; with its skinny, double-tapered wing, that model was anything BUT a trainer. But with a 48 Surpass, it was simply too cool for the late 80s time frame. The hardware generally sucked, but the airframes were primo. If I were to stumble across one NIB today, I'd probably buy and fly it just for nostalgia's sake. . |
RE: E Z Arf Models
Perhaps you need a .45 size Zero? http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...wink_smile.gif
