Question: Receiver

I have a spektrum 2.4 AR7000, was installed in a previous plane involved in a heavy crash, no impact obvious, can I install this in a new plane; if range test and function tests perform correctly. Are there any other tests that could be used to confirm.

Cheers

RE: Question: Receiver

You may also try tapping on the reciever as you test each servo individually. If there is any glitches while doing this, the reciever may be damaged.

RE: Question: Receiver

I would think if it binds, all functions work and range tests out it should be good to fly. If you have any doubts, send it in for a check-up . Just my .02

Each to his own but the rx is probably the most critical component in the model and IMHO, any rx involved in a crash merits a trip to the service center....
