What a weekend. 2 new planes
 

So Friday I am in a rush. I want to go get my H9 Texan and an engine for my Eco 8. SO I swing by the hobby shop and rush in only to be brought to a screeching halt like a jet landing on a carrier.

I see a big beautiful white box with the words Hangar 9 and Funatana printed on them. Of course my mind instantly went into calculation mode.

Could I get them both? Why yes I could! But of course there is a problem. My car is full of stuff for our camping trip. The Texan box would fit with a bit of work. But that huge Funtana Box would not even come close.

So I had to throw the plane on layaway and just paid all but 20 buck of it. They offered to hold it but I hate asking someplace to just hold a plane for me. If something happens then they could have lost a sale.

I planed on going to pick it up today but in my rish I drove my car instead of the SUV and I honesly don't think that box will fit in my taurus.


Anyway. The Texan looks great. I can't wait to start on it this week. It is getting the Saito .91 that I had planned for my Mustang and I am getting a 1.00 for the P-51.
I already have a Saito .72 for the Funtana.

Now I just need to grab a flight pack since I am running out of Servos and recievers. :)

I hate when that happens! Go to the hobby store for screws and come back with a new plane.....
I'm still waiting for my Funtana. It should be here this week!

It is a sweet looking plane. Just a big freaking box!! The one piece wing is the problem. Although honestly this thing is very large for a .40 sized plane. It is light but has a lot of surface.

As far as I know I got the only Funtana they had in. I can't wait to get this baby going.

Although I dont' think my standard 537 Servos will cut it.
