Hanger 9 edge and BME 44 PICS?
 

Is anyone flying this combo? I just recieved my edge and BME 44 in the mail today and I'm a little concerned about how much of the cowl I will have to cut off just to fit this motor in. I'm still considering returning the BME for a FPE 2.4.(Still worried about the vibration of the BME 44) or the ZDZ 40. Any comments or pictures would help.

The BME and ZDZ you are talking about are both way more powerful than that little ol' H9 Edge needs. If I were you, I'd return the Edge and order the new H9 80" Cap or a GP 33% Pitts.

BTW, I have the H9 Edge and it's a fantastic plane, but it's more suited to a big glow engine and I've grown tired of messy glow engines.....hence my recommendation of returning the plane, not the engine.

You will be happy. I have one waiting for a BME 50. I also am flying a H9 Cap 232 with a Fox 2.4 on it. I love it. All yoy have to do is a little engineering. I reanforced my fire wall and added servos to the tail. Did you check out my construction web site. I have construction pictures of both the Edge and Cap. Look here.
