Tower Sequence

I finally got to fly the Sequence l today and I was impressed. There were a few issues that you might want to know. The quality is pretty good except the covering on the fuse was wrinkled and would not tighten. No suprise here. The canopy, which is held on by magnets did not fit well so I had to tape it on to keep it locked in place. The cowl is also held in place by magnets and I also taped it to keep it from hitting the prop if it came loose. The manual recommends this. I used the recommended motor with a much larger esc (80) amps , I used a 2500 mah lipo 14.8 volts. 12x6 prop. Results: 39.5 amps 585 watts which gave me plenty of power. In fact, I rarely used more than 1/2 throttle for the flights. This plane is a really good flyer with not one issue to complain about in the air. I chose to use slightly higher torque servos because I had them. I also did not like the pull pull wire supplied. Be careful to get the gear on facing the correct way. It is easy to get them backwards. ( I did initially). I do think this model is slightly overpriced even though I bought it on sale. Lastly, I added some yellow Ultra Kote stripes on the top wing to help with orientation on hazy days. I think it needs it.
