Did you try CA remover, or acetone or Monocote Trim Solvent?

Nail polish remover used to have/be acetone back in the days of "better living through chemistry"

If you check the bottles now I'm pretty sure you won't find it as an ingredient.

I just went to the Big Orange Depot and bought a gallon of it for 9 bucks.

Soak it with "Flash Back" debonder, available at most LHS's. It will remove the CA and not dull the finish.

Greg. . .Found some great stuff at the LHS. It is calld "UN-CURE" and it leaves no sign of CA on the covering. The LHS puts his shop name on it , but in fine print I found www.BSIadhesives.com and on the side "distributed by DSI Atascadero, CA" This is the only thing I have found that works. Great stuff. Wait till the CA cures before applying.

Greg. . .Had a typo on my post...Should be ...by BSI Atascadero,CA
as in "Bob Smith Industries." I am really pleased with this. I put a drop that will cover the cured CA and let it soften for a half a minute then rub with a soft (t-shirt) cloth. Might take a 2nd application if really thick. No traces of it on the Ultracote!

It's still acetone based. My wife is in the industry and every bottle of the stuff she has states right on it "100% pure acetone". I can't imagine how those women can stand sniffing that stuff all day long.

There is something else that works very well on CA and that's the nitro in our fuel. A little on a rag rubbed gently on the CA will remove it fairly quickly.
