Good arf for a K&B 40

I am looking to buy a arf for a k&b 40 that I have laying around. I am not looking for anything specific. It can be either a scale or sport plane I don't really care. I do not want the plane to be under powered, so would a 40 work o.k on a 25-35 size plane maybe a lazy tiger p-51 or a global me-109. Any advice

Wow, picking an airplane around an engine. That's a different approach. The K&B 40 is not a weak engine despite not being schnurle ported. You should be able to run any 40 sized aircraft with no problems. I have one on a profile funfly plane, and it is a kick to use at just half throttle. We used to use them for flying Q500 racing planes like the Preditor from Lanier. You can get close to 100 mph with a good light one.

try a 4* 40, goo plane there, or the easy sport, owned one of those flew great.

Look at the "Sonic 500" from ModelTech as one alternative.

It is actually an old Q500 design and would be ideal for such an engine and can be picked up quite cheaply.

Lanier also have some ARF's of similar design, such as the Predator.
