Which JR receivers do you have? PPM? PCM? DSM? DSM2?

RE: Not sure where to ask?

Use only JR radios with JR receivers. Same with Futaba etc. Now I know there will be heaps of reply's saying that they have mixed this with that for years and nothing has gone wrong, but why risk it? There will be no obligation to accept any risk on the part of the manufacturer if you do mix brands. Why do you want to replace a 10x? there really isn't much that is more capable, what specific task do you have that it cannot do?
Either way, stick to the major brands and try not to mix the hardware up.

I don't want to replace it I have just had to replace 2 of the switchs and now after getting water on the touch screen I have had a short(Don't ask 18 month old beautiful little princess) I either have to get another 10X or replace with a 9 channel or better. And you are right there is not that much better that is why I was looking at the Hitec Aurora or another JR.

Send it into Horizon and see how much it'll cost to have it repaired. It may be cheaper than getting something new, as new 72mhz gear is getting rare. If you want to keep your PCM receivers, you're married to JR. At that point the used market is your best bet. 10Xs have been going for under $300.

Thanks guys I guess I found the best of both worlds, I found a Used 10X that has already been converted to 2.4 and since I have my Syn Module I can still use the receivers that I have and start buying 2.4 as I need to!

You probably made the best choice to be able to use your current stuff and to migrate to 2.4 if you decide to go that route.
