Get the kit version. Very ease to built, I have built two of them, you can built one in a week working just couple Hrs. per day.;)

I've had the ARF and I have a kit. The arf was great. I traded it away and decided I had to have another one so I bought the kit. The quality was good. and it flew great (OS .50 sx) Don't expext 3D out of it and it is one of the best sport flyers available.

I've owned both the ARF and the kit.

The ARF was great except for the covering. The stripes just refused to stay on but I guess that really wasn't a major issue. I also had the firewall come loose in it but I don't really fault the ARF itself. It was most likely caused by all the violent snap rolls and flat spins I put it through.:D

The kit was just as good and it goes together so quick, it is practically an ARF.

I have the SSE ARF version and it was a well designed and built bird. As with most (maybe all?) ARFs, I always find that a beef up in the landing gear area is needed, but I think you will be happy with your SSE ARF.

The ARF is fine for this size of plane. The gear block deas need a little glass on it. Just realize a 40 size ARF is not Aeroworks quality.

I knocked the gear block out of mine when flying off of a fairly rough dirt lot. It came of nice and clean though. I think if it had been more securely glued to the fuselage there would have been a lot more damage and a much more difficult repair.
