Poor Man Setup- U Can Do 60 ? #2

I am almost finished with the construction of a U Can Do 60. Now as you read this Understand one thing . Good measure. or one word Balance . Because I do not have the money to spend till later this year. And please tell me this can work in my situation.

My first low wing - I have 2 trainers , Cub and 2 gliders under my belt.

Power - OS LA 65 with 13x5 or 13x4 Prop.
Radio- Tower Hobbies 6 Ch.
Battery- 6 volts
Servos - Standard BB all around 57 oz . , excluding rudder 80 oz .
I beefed up the landing gear.
Great Planes fixed fire wall / engine mount thing .
I noticed in the directions 3 settings- Low rates , High rates, and 3D rates. Can the supplied control linkages work, If I do not set it up at the 3D Throws ?<br type="_moz" />

The O.S. LA series of engines, do not put out the same power as their normally aspirated counterparts.

The LA 65 is much closer to an O.S. .46 in terms of power.

As such you will be unhappy with in on the U-Can-Do.

Look to using a different engine on that plane.

If you wish to save money and have some experience tuning glow engines, a Tower Hobbies .75 would be perfect for that plane.

I don't know which TX you are using, but computer controlled mixes are a big help on this plane, as are variable rates.
