Twinstar ENgine

I just bought my twinstar. I need to find some good engines though. it calls for .20 to .40 2 stroke. buying os max 46 2 stroke is cheaper then a 35 or 25 ax os max engine.Would the OS MAX 46 AX be to big, or just keep the throttle back so it flies at a reasonable speed?

Thanks

I'm thinking that the .46 max's would be too big. I have owned one of these, and it is not a large plane. Mine had the .25 FP engines on it and it flew very nice.

Hello,
Aside from the weight issues with 46s, the twinstar only has 4 oz fuel tanks. 46s will give you a very short flight time. I used OS LA 40s on mine. They are cheap, reliable and give me 6-8 min of flight time.
