Servo Question

Bought a couple airplanes on sale last week. Both planes call for Tactic TSX25 mini digital servos. It looks like those servos are discontinued. Does anyone have a suggestion as to another servo that would work well without breaking the bank?
Has anyone used Onyx servos? Both planes call for mini servos but with a little modification I can use standard size right if I have the room? The planes are the Uproar V2 and the Edge 540 .46/EP ARF. Any help would be appreciated.

If you already have standard size servos and you can get them to fit without a huge weight penalty then I would go for it. As far as mini servos go my favorite is the MKS HV69. They typically run $54 but perform much better then the price would suggest. I have over 100 flights on them in a pattern airplane and they still perform as they did when new. I even put one on tail rotor control on a .60 size helicopter, again no issues but only have a dozen or so flights so far.
