grinding noise in outrunner at mid rpm

I have a Tacan Bigfoot 60 outrunner, that has a grinding noise about midrange in rpms. From 0-4000 it is smooth. From 7000 up it is smooth. The mid range is very noisy and grinding like it is destroying itself. Is it bearings, or maybe bent shaft?
