Default 10oz Two Rotor DC with Traxxas Head Flies !!!

I flew my first electric gyro and my first gyro with two blades! I don't have any flying pics yet but below are the static pics. I had to fly at full throttle. I think the 32" diameter rotor is little too much for the motor. I am going to cut it down to around 28-30". This should reduce the drag. I have provision for a rudder but I flew without it. My tail feathers are quick changeable so I can add it later if I want to. With my current setup, I can get easy 10 minute flying time.

Specs:

Motor: Littlescreamer Brushless
Prop: 9x5 GWS HD
Battery: Thunder Power 7.2V Li-po
ESC: CoolESC A10
Servo: 3 Expert SL260 Micro servos
Rotor: 32" Aerobalsa 1.5 Chord
Head: Traxaas Steering Block
Weight: 10.1 oz

Wahid,
Nice going and it looks simple to build.
I will expect to see Demo flights at Muncie. Looks like Mickey has started a craze to build small electric Gyro's.

Hi,

Looks good, great job. What material did you use for the rotor hub?

Hi Wahid !!! Good show, sir !!! Looks great. I knew someone could make a two-blader fly well. Keep up the good work, and keep us posted on your flight experiences. Hope to see a video of your latest bird. Charlie Anderson
