Default any arf autogyros?

Hi All,
Been buidling rc planes and helis for many years now and recently saw an autogyro and am VERY interested. I have zero time nowadays to build and was wondering if anyone out there makes an arf autogyro yet? Havent had any luck searching the web.
Thanks

Hi Mike and welcome to the Autogyro Forum here on R/C Universe.

The closest to an ARF you'll find for an R/C Autogyro kit is the "Kombat Kopter" or Autogyro Co. of Arizona's "2-D". The "Kombat Kopter" bolts together and needs no "finishing"; the "2-D" is a profile, builds quickly but does need covering/ fuel proofing. Neither of these are true "ARF's" and neither recommended as a good "first gyro".

Thanks Steve,
What would be a good first autogyro kit? I might be able to squeeze in a little building here and there and sooner or later get it together.
Thanks again

Hi Mike,

If you want a kit, the Autogyro Company of Arizona's "GyroBee" is an excellent "first" gyro.

For the scratch builder any of the twin-rotored models ("Gyrace", "Al's Autogyro") would be excellent in that they takeoff, fly about and land almost like a fixed wing airplane. These aren't true autogyros, but they sure are fun! (You might try Bob Holman Plan Service: 909-885-3959)
