G3PO and BEGI parts questions
Hello Mickey
I am new to RC and have been flying electrics quite successfully. I am in the process of building the G3PO and the BEGI from your plans. I have two complete GWS dragonfly airplane which I will be using for parts. I have couple of questions.
Flybar – Do I use stock GWS or steel rod on both the G3PO and BEGI? The GWS carbon rod is flexible and easy to twist. The G3PO bill of material lists the GWS FD005 fly bar, but I found at the site below, you used a longer steel rod.

Mainshaft – The G3PO bom calls for Piccolo Pro main shaft. Can I use the GWS main shaft? What is the difference between the two?
Flying – Is the G3PO a little easier to fly then the BEGI?

RE: G3PO and BEGI parts questions
For main shaft I use these:

You have to trim a few mm off the end so if will slide in far enough
to have the hole line up.
For a flybar use 2mm (0.078) music wire, 290 mm long.
They fly about the same.
G3PO has better ground handling and is better for rough/unimproved fields.

RE: G3PO and BEGI parts questions
If it works then there is no reason not to use it. I don't know if it's long enough
when you fit the pre-rotator. If you are using it in that case let me know.
Basically any 3mm shaft with the 1mm hole in the proper place will work.
