HELP Autogyro Guru's!!!

1 Attachment(s)
Hi There ....
I am taking on the research, of what I hope will be, a most interesting autogyro project. I am primarily looking for sites, information and any related material for an electric pusher autogyro. I expect that the finished project would be fairly large in size. Possibably as large as if it were powered by a 35 to 60 size glow engine. The overall idea is to take the McDonnell XV-1 and covert it from a VTOL to a trike gear autogyro. For those of you who may not have seen this aircraft ... attached is a pic. Any and all input would be appreciated!! Thanks for your help

I think it ought to be doable.. Tri gear and the wing. With electric motors today with li-po's. SHould work OK.
Not sure if anything on www.autogyro.com will help.
AeroBalsa blades with a delta head.

Good luck, keep us updated.

Make a super simple junker first of the approximate size/weight.
Then when you get all the trim settings, make it scale.

My vote is to go with a heli head,
heres a 3 blader

and the matching swashplate
