Scale up of gyro
So what happens when you scale up a gyro? Is it a total redesign or are some aspects conserved? I was thinking a 2X BEGI or G3PO would be attractive. Possible or not????

Possible and likely.

Hummmmm... I suppose I should start saving some money.
On a related note, which is easier to fly for a fairly new gyro flyer, the BEGI, G3PO or neither? |
RE: Scale up of gyro
Gt17 is the easiest of my three to fly by far.
I've taught pilots to fly it with no rotor experience. No single rotor will ever be as easy to fly as a dual rotor, so that's a given. Most people can fly the dual rotors. Most experienced pilots that can use the rudder can fly my stuff. If you've ever flown a helicopter, even hovering you can fly my stuff pretty easily. Your mileage may vary. Yes, I've been mentally designing a big tricycle gear jump takeoff BEGi. Gotta have something new for springtime you know. |
