Default Glow Plug igniter Sub-C cell replacement battery

Looking for a Sub C battery to replace the battery in my glow plug starter. The one I have now is a Panasonic P-170 SCS Nicad Sub-C Cell. Tower is selling a Sanyp replacement for around $9.00. A little pricey I think.

Would this one work ?

or possibly this one ?

What replacement Sub-C cells are you using in your glow plug starters ?

Thanks

Cary

Honestly? I just go buy another glow starter.

I can't imagine that those cells wouldn't work if one wanted to go to the trouble to solder it, pay the shipping and deal with the hassle. Personally, not worth it to me but maybe that's just me. I do have my little nuances (or so my lovely bride claims anyway!).

I like the Sanyo KR-1300SC, they are high quality but $9 is a little high.

The Sanyos hold their charge and last longer than the cheapies do, so they are a better value even if they do cost more.
