RE: TP820C or Hyperion EOS720i Duo ?
I have the TP820 and a friend has the Hyperion. I use a Honda EU2000i connected to a server power supply to power the charger. I charge two 6S 5300mAh (one on each port) at 15A. After a flight (12S setup) 4.5min of lying and putting back about 3800-4000mAh it takes 15-17 minutes. I really like this charger. My friend's Hyperion 720 is very similar but has two displays which he likes a lot. One thing that I don't like about that charger is that it resets while charging if connected to my generator. The way the charging algorithm works is that it stops for few seconds to analyze voltage of battery then it ramps up to the specified amperage immediately. If the generator is running on an ECO mode then it can't ramp up fast enough and the charger resets. The only solution is to run it with ECO mode off which makes the generator louder and less efficient. If you will be running the charger from your home power source or 12-24V deep cycle batteries then there is no problem. Both are good chargers. Whichever you go with you would not be disappointed.
