Man I used 5amp the other night to charge that battery on normal mode and it only took 30 mins. I noticed it started at 5amp then started to count down till 0 then finally beeped.
Did I damaged it?

I think not.......I been hitting mine with 5 amps for 6 months.........Balance charge only.......like you noticed it takes 5 amps then tapers off to lower amps fairly quick, never had a batt puff up or any other problem..........time will tell, but so far my balance/ batt meter says all is well..

Ok, I have the same charger. I can live with the .5c charge rate. Something I don't understand is the labelling/decal on the charger that shows what the flashing light sequences mean. I have yet to have the flashing agree with the decal. I just connect the charger to my battery and wait until I hear the charging complete/annoying beeping. Anyone else experience this? I have had no problems otherwise.

Another happy accucel 6 user. After a couple of years, i went to an accucel 8. It is nice to have the extra capacity on larger packs. I consolidated chargers and bought a racersedge prime 400. Same programming and works great 200 watts per side.130 bucks...i still use the accucel on occasion.
