I have a new CellPro 10S and would like to charge a Fromeco Relion 2600ma pack that I use in my airplanes.
I hooked it up for the first time today with my charge leads pluged into the TOP banana plugs.
I thinks they call these the discharge plugs?????
These Fromeco Relion packs do not have a balance connecter.

When pushing the start button it tells me I am not connected??
I should be able to charge through these TOP plugs should I without a balance hook-up??

I didn't find any balance/charge mode in the menu?
I think I just paid for a charger that can only charge through the balance wires....great

Afraid so. The 10S can charge through the balance leads only, or through the balance leads and power leads when both are connected, but not through the power leads only. Balance leads must be connected for the charger to recognize the battery.

And balance the cells during the charging. So definitely get the balance wires. You could charge through the balance wires only, but at much slower rate.
