Default Balancing charger question

I have this charger http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=7523 and It only has balancing ports from 3s-8s lipos but I just got a venom 2s 4000mah lipo which obviously it doesnt have a port for. My question is there an adapter I can get to attach to it for a balance port? thanks

Try using a balancing/conversion board such as this.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...rger_plug.html
It plugs into a larger slot and you plug into the 2S1P port.
No guarantees, just a suggestion to try.

Good Luck,

is there a check on the charger if it could id 2s lipo. It'll be in the manual or any charge/discharge settings you should be able to scroll through how many sells it would do.
I'm not sure if it could id 2s lipo.

There's no physical balance port for 2s. Is it ok to charge with the output lead for now?

Sorry for the trouble your having and i've just had a look at your battery charger and it says you MUST have both the discharge an balance plugs plugged in if not you will get the ''CONNECTION BREAK" message,so from what i have read on that you might well be stuck,so rather than lose a good charger i'd buy another battery with a balance lead on it,better for you in the long run mate, sorry i couldn't be more helpful but you could all ways sell the battery to some one you know or even on ebay to try and get some money back.

I'll leave a link for HK batteries.

Thanks for your help. My battery actually has both balance and of course discharge plug. It will say CONNECTION BREAK when I don't have the discharge plug connected. It did charge just fine also. I was just worried about not having the 2s balance port though.I might just buy a cheap 2s charger balancer.

My charger does'nt have the 2s port either, I use an adapter like [link=http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__8821__XH_Adapter_Coversion_Board_W_Polyquest_Cha rger_plug.html]this[/link] to balance charge my 2s lipos. Never a problem.
